VCT EMEA follows competitive format designed by Riot Games VCT Rulebook.This competitive format helps to select the best teams that will represent the region in international tournaments.
The league consists of:
VCT Americas League – Stage 1 Format
- Group Stage:
- Two Single-Round Robin Groups
- Each Group has 6 teams
- All matches are Bo3
- Top 4 teams from each group advance to Playoffs
- Winners have a bye into the Upper Bracket Semifinals
- 2nd & 3rd placed teams advance to Upper Bracket Round 1
- 4th placed teams start from Lower Bracket Round 1
- Two Single-Round Robin Groups
- Playoffs: April 24th – May 4th, 2025
- Double-Elimination bracket
- All matches (excl. Lower Bracket Final & Grand Final) are Bo3
- Lower Bracket Final & Grand Final are Bo5
- Top 3 teams qualify for Masters Toronto
VCT Americas League – Stage 2 Format
- Group Stage:
- Two Single-Round Robin Groups
- Each Group has 6 teams
- All matches are Bo3
- Top 4 teams from each group advance to Playoffs

2. Challengers & Ascension
- Challengers serves as the tier-two circuit, where up-and-coming teams battle for a chance to qualify for the Americas Ascension tournament.
- The winner of Ascension earns a two-year promotion into the VCT Americas League.
3. International Events
- Top teams from VCT Americas season qualify for VCT Masters (mid-season international tournaments) and VCT Champions (the VALORANT World Championship).
